WHAT IS CHRISTIAN CAREER CIRCLE?

CCC is a job-seeking, networking group in its sixth year of operation. CCC's purpose is to assist unemployed persons in developing job search skills and in finding job leads. The program is offered to any and all unemployed persons, and there is no monetary charge for the services the program provides. There are many ways of approaching a job search, and CCC wants you to know it is up to you how or if you use the suggestions and materials provided

Christian Career Circle meets each Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM in St. Bernard Hall just east of the church.

The group discusses topics related to job search strategies and periodically features presenters who can provide special information and/or insight to a particular aspect of the job search.

A leads list of members and the type of employment they are seeking is provided and updated weekly or bi-weekly to help members assist each other to find job leads while they conduct their own job search.

An alumni list of former members is also provided that has been very helpful to the group. It lists alums who are employed and who are willing to get a resume to key persons in their company. We have been extremely successful in using the alum base to get to hiring managers and other key persons who make hiring decisions. THE ONLY REQUIREMENT OF THIS PROGRAM IS THAT MEMBERS BE WILLING TO ASSIST OTHER MEMBERS OF CHRISTIAN CAREER CIRCLE BY SEEING THAT RESUMES ARE APPROPRIATELY DISTRIBUTED AND TO PROVIDE JOB OPENING INFORMATION BACK TO THE GROUP AFTER THEY ACHIEVE EMPLOYMENT.

The group has two websites for communication and job leads.

The Employment Guide, whose sections and pages are listed to the left, is a collection of job search tools that we have developed and some of the pages listed are undergoing further development. We have attempted to give proper credit to persons when we know who the author is. Some of the materials have come from career conferences without an author's name.
